Kate Rowley graduated from Camberwell School of Art and Crafts with a BA (Hons) in Printed Textiles and Tapestry Weaving. Through an agent she then sold print designs for fashion and bed linen to prestigious design studios in Rome and Paris. She subsequently concentrated on artwork for soft furnishings which she sold to companies in America, Europe, UK, Australia, Japan and Korea. Kate now sells her work mainly in New York to clients such as Tommy Hilfiger and in Sweden to Almedahls and IKEA. She has recently rekindled her interest in painting and divides her time between this and her design work.
