| Helen Martino has a BA (Hons) in Ceramics and lives in Cambridge. Her 'Dancing Bottles' are based on the movement of dance. Quotations are often worked into the surface and distorted or disguised. Poems and mottos are also the inspiration for her 'Bird' and 'Loving Cup' creations. These particular pots are inspired by the pebbles on Westward Ho! Beach which have layers of quartz. |
