Frances Palmer
was the daughter of a Devonshire Clergyman. At an early age
she became an amateur, but extremely gifted, botanist. After
retiring from her teaching career she discovered that she had a great
talent for painting the wild flowers which she loved. Her work was
brought to the attention of the Medici Society who subsequently purchased
some fifty of her designs for their beautiful greetings cards.
Frances was the wife of John Palmer, the distinguished North Devon
watercolourist. |
