Colin
Allbrook (R.I., S.E.A)
studied at St Martins School of Art in London
and works as a full time professional artist. He was the Artist in Residence for the Queen's Theatre in Barnstaple, and designed sets for the European Ballet.
He is a Member of the Society of Equestrian Artists and the prestigious
Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour where he has, this year, won
the Turner Award for watercolour and the Rowland Hilder prize for
landscape painting. He is also a member of The Royal Society of Marine
Artists. He paints in all mediums. He has won first prize at the Bath and West Exhibition twice,
the Daler Rowney Award at the Royal Watercolour Society, the Frank
Herring award at the Royal Institute and the President's Medal at the
Equestrian Society. |
